Bible Jyothi Yatra:

Bible Jyothi Yatra starts on 19 th March of every year on the feast of Saint Joseph.  Bishop lights the Bible Jyothi  Yatra and it is carried out through the Diocese of Eluru in the West Godavari district and the Konaseema area of the East Godavari district. They have rosary. Lay people that receive "Deeksha" in the Lenten Season carry out the Bible Jyothi Yathra with great devotion from parish to parish.  Bible Jyothi Yatra also propagates the festival celebration of Nirmalagiri Mary Matha Shrine and invites the people to visit the shrine and receive blessings from Mother Mary. Bible Jyothi Yatra returns to the Shrine on 25th of the March at 5pm. It is received by the Bishop and the dignitaries.
